Snake Catchers
If you see a snake
- Keep a safe distance (at least 3–5 metres) and do not attempt to handle the snake.
- Keep children and pets indoors or well away from the area.
- If safe to do so, keep eyes on the snake from a distance so you can describe its location.
- Contact a snake catcher for advice and assistance.
- Send your location and contact number to the snake catcher.

Common snakes found in the area
Residents in and around Capri may occasionally encounter a variety of snakes, particularly during warmer months. The area is home to both harmless and venomous species, and most snakes will avoid people if left undisturbed.
