Snake Catchers

This page lists local snake catchers who assist residents with safe, humane snake removals and guidance. Contacts are shared as a community reference, based on local knowledge and recommendations.

If you see a snake

  • Keep a safe distance (at least 3–5 metres) and do not attempt to handle the snake.
  • Keep children and pets indoors or well away from the area.
  • If safe to do so, keep eyes on the snake from a distance so you can describe its location.
  • Contact a snake catcher for advice and assistance.
  • Send your location and contact number to the snake catcher.
