WiggleWoo Worm Farm is a local food waste collection and composting initiative based in the Deep South. The service makes it easy for households to keep food scraps out of their municipal bins while supporting a practical, local circular waste system.

Subscribers receive a 10L bucket for their food waste. Once a week, WiggleWoo collects the full bucket from your home and replaces it with a clean one, taking the scraps back to the farm where earthworms help turn them into nutrient-rich vermicast. Each household also receives 2L of vermicast every month to use in the garden or for houseplants.

Keeping food waste out of household refuse helps reduce what goes to landfill and can also make bins less attractive to baboons and other pests. The resulting vermicast returns valuable nutrients and beneficial microbes to the soil, helping improve soil health and water retention.

WiggleWoo already collects from households across the Deep South, including Capri, and is keen to grow the local route. Household subscriptions are available, with separate options for businesses.
