Honeyguide is run by Mark Farah, a local beekeeper with a long-standing passion for bees, ethical beekeeping and the natural landscapes they depend on.

Mark offers bee and wasp removals, with an approach that aims to protect bees wherever possible and relocate them rather than simply destroy a colony.

Honeyguide also produces raw, unfiltered honey and other bee products made by indigenous Cape honeybees. The hives are situated in natural areas around the Cape, where the bees forage freely among the diverse plants of the Cape floral kingdom. This gives the honey a rich, complex flavour that varies naturally from season to season and place to place.

Alongside raw honey, Honeyguide produces pollen, beeswax and propolis, together with occasional speciality products. The range is produced with an eco-conscious approach and packaged in reusable glass jars.
