About
Capri Pre-Primary School is a privately owned early childhood development centre in Capri Village, offering care and early learning for children from 4 months to 5 years.
The school was established by Jeannine Ruffels in 1997, beginning as a small group of six children known as Jeannine’s Playgroup. Over the years, it has grown into a well-established pre-primary school while retaining the warm, personal and home-like atmosphere that has always been at its heart.
Children are cared for in small classes by qualified teachers, with staff trained in first aid. The daily programme combines structured learning with plenty of time for play, creativity, movement and exploration. Activities include stories, music, nursery rhymes, puzzles, blocks, painting, play dough, sensory play, water play and outdoor playground time.
The school is well equipped with both indoor and outdoor spaces, giving children room to learn, play and develop in a safe and stimulating environment. A nutritious cooked lunch is provided each day, and families can choose from full-day, half-day and three-day attendance options.
Capri Pre-Primary is open from Monday to Friday throughout most of the year, making it a practical and supportive option for local families looking for consistent, nurturing care during the important early years.
